Going abroad
As future language teachers we strongly advise our students to complete a prolonged stay in a foreign country where your studied language is a national language!
There are a number of ways to study abroad or to do an internship in a foreign country. Please visit the English and American Studies homepage or the Homepage of the International Office for more information and specific programmes.
Kerstin Maurer from the international office and our chair offer a teaching internship in Georgia, USA in cooperation with the University of North Georgia, which runs from August to December. Further information can be found in the handout linked below:
